Pre-Sales Technical and Marketing Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and technically proficient Pre-Sales Technical and Marketing Executive to join our IT and AV solutions company in Qatar. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise in IT and AV systems with strong marketing and sales acumen to support pre-sales activities, drive business growth, and build strong client relationships. This role involves collaborating with the sales team, preparing technical proposals, delivering presentations, and contributing to marketing strategies to promote our cutting-edge IT and AV solutions in the Qatari market.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Sales Technical Support

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand client requirements and provide tailored IT and AV solutions, including systems integration, AV equipment (projectors, video conferencing systems, digital signage) and IT infrastructure (networking, cloud, cybersecurity).
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept solutions to prospective clients to showcase product/service value.
  • Conduct site visits and technical assessments to evaluate client needs and propose customized solutions.
  • Develop detailed technical proposals, including system designs, specifications, and cost estimates, in coordination with engineers and product specialists.
  • Stay updated on the latest IT and AV technologies—including Pro AV, lighting, ELV systems, and IT hardware/software trends—to provide informed recommendations.

Marketing and Business Development

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive activities in the IT & AV sectors in Qatar.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the company’s solutions (brochures, case studies, social media, exhibitions).
  • Support the sales team by generating leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry events/trade shows in Qatar.
  • Manage and update customer databases to ensure accurate tracking of leads and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging visuals and campaigns tailored to the Qatari market, emphasizing IT & AV innovations.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients (corporate, government, hospitality) to foster loyalty and repeat business.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, addressing technical queries and ensuring solutions align with clients’ business objectives.
  • Provide post-sales support by coordinating with implementation teams to ensure smooth project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Sales Support and Reporting

  • Assist in achieving sales targets by supporting negotiations and deal closures.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales pipelines, market trends, and customer feedback for management.
  • Use CRM tools to track sales activities, leads, and opportunities, ensuring accurate data for strategic planning.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in pre-sales, technical sales, or marketing within the IT and/or AV industry (preferred).

Technical Knowledge

  • Strong understanding of IT solutions (networking, cloud computing, cybersecurity) and AV systems (Pro AV, video conferencing, control systems).
  • Familiarity with AV/IT brands and technologies (e.g., Crestron, Extron, Poly, Cisco).
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and create system designs.

Skills

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills (fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus).
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret market trends and customer requirements.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, and sales order taking applications.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
